Totally miss my old office today, for some bizzare unknown reason. It was cold, small narrow shit and had a snake loose in it for over a month (I had no idea and I hate snakes). But I seem to want to be in it today. It had its moments.

End of an era

Wonderwall

I’ve just been listening to Oasis I forgot how good those guys are. For a band that totally shaped my chilhood (they were the first band I ever bought) I dont give them enough credit. I have never being able to see the band live but it is something that I would really like to be able to do one day. Are they even together?? They will be again one day I’m sure.

But in the grand scheme of things Oasis don’t have shit on this guy:

The Longening

I went to see the Lost Boys last night at the Packhorse in Leeds. The show was awesome and big props to Mez & Kate for putting it on and everyone who was good enough to turn out on a cold wet Monday night. All the bands were really good but I noticed that punk bands seem to be playing for longer and longer recently. The first band who played really tight brazillian style crust rock seriously must have played for about 40minutes and no disrespect to them but I only enjoyed about 15 minutes. They seemed to just be playing the same song for the entire set. On the plus side though they had some really disgusting leather clad girls hula hooping. I didn’t manage to get any photos of said tramps, as much as I wish I had because they literally blew my mind. I have never laughed so much in my life. It was like being in vice magazine for 40 minutes. Especially when the “Hula Girls” (I use that loosely as they were/she was a crusty mess) we’re getting ready and they just had their tits out for everyone to see. There’s nothing quite like a room of grown men laughing like children because they’ve seen something as funny as boobs. If only it had been slightly more erotic, there’s nothing sexy about dirt at least not in my world.

But back to the title of this post. I really wish bands would go back to the old skool of playing a really fast short set. Ten minutes is just the perfect amount of time for a band to play no matter who they are. I’d much rather say I wanted to hear more and be eager to see a band another time rather than looking at my watch for half their set. Agree or disagree you decide.

Golden Brown

Summer has officially finished. Not sure how everyone else feels but I am pretty happy about this. Don’t get me wrong I love the heat but when you live in England you never get whats hyped. So for me its all about Autumn, Winter and Spring. You always get what you’re expecting with these, so don that new coat, grab a beanie (more on that soon) and buckle yourself in for the ride.

Happy Halloween

Well I can officially say that on Saturday. Here is a preview of how the shirt came out. They look so good I am really stoked. Big thanks to everyone who ordered. They all come with a happy Halloween gift tag and a tag that is numbered. We didn’t make very many so sorry to everyone who missed out. Maybe you’ll have better look next time.
